Investment Philosophy

The Coastal Community Foundation’s investment philosophy has several key objectives:

Objective One: to provide
sufficient income for current
charitable support.
Objective Two: to preserve the purchasing power of the Foundation’s assets through capital appreciation

The Foundation’s prudent investment policy allows the Board to meet the goal of providing for current charitable needs while maintaining and enhancing long-term purchasing power.

DONORS

We invite you to learn how the Coastal Community Foundation can assist in your charitable giving.

Many of our donors want to ensure that the local programs and activities important to them are able to prosper and continue to meet the ongoing needs of our community. The variety of those programs varies as widely as the members of our community. As a donor, you can personalize your giving in a way that specifically meets your needs and desires.

As a local Community Foundation focusing on the needs and interests of Coastal North County, we are intimately aware of the needs of our area. Our Board Members represent the community with interests and experience in youth education, mental health, elder care, arts, and the environment. You can designate one or several areas of interest and specify a program you wish to support. We also place funds with programs each year that best address the community’s needs at that time.

Please let us know how we can craft a giving program to meet your desires. Thank you for your interest in the Coastal Community Foundation.

Sincerely,

Lou Stover
Board President
